The Packers dispatched the Queens Saturday night and have set their sights on their next victim–the San Francisco Forty-Whiners. We had an awesome crowd (165+) at the club last week and hope to see you again this Saturday night at 7 PM for the Divisional Playoff game. You can reserve seats by calling Don at 615-417-4454. Seating is first come, first served for those without reservations, but it’s nice to know your favorite spot is saved just for you and your friends. Playoff Time!

It’s time for the Packers’ first round playoff game. It’s this Saturday night (yes, SATURDAY) at 7 PM against…the Vikings. I know, Deja Vu. Hey, I’d rather lose to them in the regular season and beat them in the playoffs. So bring your outside voice to the club and help to cheer in the New Year and our Packers to victory. Craig Hentrich Dec 23

Here’s a trivia question. What did former Packers General Manager Ron Wolf call, “One of his biggest regrets?” The answer: Letting Packers punter Craig Hentrich leave Titletown for the Titans in free agency. But now the Packers are about to get him back…sort of. Craig is coming to the Nashville Packer Backers Club this Sunday December 23rd to watch the Packers/Titans game with us, take some photos and sign some autographs.

Photo Op
From 11:30 – 12:00 we will have a photo line and you don’t even need your camera. We will have a camera on a tripod, take your picture with Craig and post it to the Club’s Facebook page where you can tag it, share it and download it if you like.

Autographs
Craig has also agreed to stay after the game to sign some autographs. So, bring the kids, your biggest smile and something for Craig to sign and we’ll see you for Packers/Titans at the club on Sunday. Go Pack Go! –Greg

The Bears Still S*ck!

The Packers have a chance to win the division and secure a home game for the first round of the playoffs by beating the Bears this Sunday. The Bears are reeling after a string of losses and the Pack can put them out of their misery. Join us at the club for the 12 noon kickoff and let’s celebrate another NFC North Championship together.

Amy and I were at Lambeau for Packers/Lions last Sunday night. We did some shopping earlier in the day and got some great goodies for the raffle. Hope you win!

Kittens come to Lambeau

The Motor City kittens are coming to Lambeau this Sunday hoping to add to their streak of 20 consecutive losses on the Tundra. You should plan on coming to the club to enjoy the carnage as the Packers beat up a boy named Suh and his pals. Packers/Lions Sunday night at 7:20 at J’s Sports Grill in Franklin. We’ll have more great raffle prizes including a Go Pack Go light, a 24 can cooler, free combo meals at Culvers and more. Can’t stay for the whole game? That’s fine. Come for the first half. The memory of sitting in Lambeau Field last January watching a 15-1 season slip away in a loss to the Giants is still fresh in my mind. It’s payback time. Join us at the Nashville Packer Backers Club this Sunday night, November 25th at 7:20 PM to watch the Packers get revenge and win their sixth game in a row by beating the Giants and extending their lead in the NFC North. Tailgate Party Nov 18

Our second tailgate party is Sunday November 18 from 10-12 noon before the Packers/Lions game. We will meet in the parking lot outside J’s Sports Grill for brats and chili and sides plus soft drinks and beer. Everyone (except Bears fans) is welcome. Official Club members eat and drink free, non-members pay just $10 and Bears, Vikings and Lions fans pay $367,289.00 each. Take your picture behind the Clay Matthews and Aaron Rodgers photo board, throw a football with a friend, or get to know your fellow club members. At noon we’ll all head inside and watch our Packers beat the Detroit Lie Downs.

We’ve got awesome raffle prizes this week including a grand prize of a Packers easy up awning.

Bring an unopened toy to donate to Toys for Tots of Middle Tennessee and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Franklin Entertainment Center.

Packers/Cardinals Sunday Noon

The game against the Jaguars was ugly, but the outcome was beautiful–a WIN! The 5-3* Packers play the Cardinals this Sunday noon at Lambeau Field. Once again the game won’t be on your TV, but it will be on every screen at the Nashville Packer Backers so c’mon down to the club and watch the game with us. (* The Packers are actually 6-2 because THEY BEAT THE SEAHAWKS!)

We’ve got some fun raffle prizes again this week including Packers earrings for the ladies, a Packers wind sock that mounts to your car, a toaster that toasts the Packers “G” into every slice of bread, and more.

Remember too that our next tailgate party is November 18. The party starts 2-hours before game time. Official members eat and drink free. Non-members pay just $10. Weather permitting, we’ll set up in the parking lot, throw the football, take photos, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company before cheering the Packers to a win over the Lions. Go Pack Go! –Greg

Packers/Jaguars Sunday @ Noon

After beating the Rams to win complete a three-game road trip, the Packers return to Lambeau Field this Sunday, October 28, at noon to play the Jaguars. You, of course, should return to the Nashville Packer Backers Club to watch them with all of your green and gold pals. We have some great raffle prizes for the game including a pair of Packers headphones! The game won’t be on regular TV, but it will be on the HD projection screen and all of the other TV’s at J’s Sports Grill, so c’mon down to the club and help us cheer the Packers to victory. Packers/Texans Sunday Night

The Packers always seem to step up their game when playing quality competition. They’ll get that chance this Sunday night when they play the undefeated Houston Texans. After playing down to the level of the Colts, we’re ready for them to rise to the level of the Texans and bring home a tough win on the road.
